Description

Very rare Catalina table features a hand painted Desert scene by Maude Chase. Six 6" tiles make the scene. It is signed "Catalina" in paint on the lower left tile. This Spanish style iron and wooden Island base is one of the hardest to find. We believe there are only a very limited number of these tables ever produced, we have seen 4 in 20 years of collecting. A few gouges in two tiles do not detract given this scenes rarity. Dark wood on table could use darkening. No repairs or finish treatment whatsoever. A must-have for the serious Catalina collector. Table measures 24" by 17.5" and stands 18" tall. One is being marketed elsewhere for 5,000. over this price.
